I worked in the building industry for 23 years and have seen so many people taken advantage of, from the remodeler/builder to the retailer. A lot of people don’t know who to call or who they can trust and they take a leap of faith when they call someone for a quote. Our industry is notorious for not following up, charging too much and not completing the project to the customers satisfaction. I have also seen people pay a contractor in full and the contractor never come back. I want to change the reputation of our industry.
